Overall Aim: In the study of Maths we aim to deliver a creative, ambitious Maths curriculum which is rich in knowledge and skills. We strive to ignite curiosity and prepare pupils, from a variety of learning starting points, for everyday life and future employment. Our Maths curriculum aims to engender a love of numeracy and a curiosity to learn more. We aim to eliminate fear and increase pupils’ self-esteem resulting in a motivation and confidence to achieve. We aim to embed literacy to aid comprehension and problem solving.
