Overall Aim: Through our Geography curriculum we aim to develop pupils’ knowledge and skills while inspiring a curiosity for the world they live in. Through teaching about diverse places, people and resources we aim to increase our pupils’ understanding of human and physical geography while fostering a sense of awe, wonder and respect for our shared planet. Teaching is meaningful and relevant to a pupil’s cognitive and physical ability. Learning tasks are differentiated to ensure the challenge is appropriate and achievable.
